On a generous Westport, Connecticut site, a new-construction Shingle Style house took shape as the centerpiece of what has become a beautiful estate property. The house sits high on a knoll, and the interior is anchored by an expansive, heavy timber–framed great room. We used Shingle Style details in a rigorous and historically accurate way.
